Founders of Serengale Vineyard Gayle Taylor & Serena Abbinga, began with a shared passion for wine, the country, and a combined goal of a premium vineyard that produces the best grapes. Today, Serengale wines now proudly grown, vinified and bottled on site hand crafted by our winemaker, Gayle Taylor, with the vines closely managed using a combination of soil, climate and viticulture techniques create fine, concentrated, intense wines.
Serengale wines are barrel fermented & made in small quantities, expressing the vineyard, season, and characteristics of the region. With warm sunny days, cool nights and a constant light breeze assisting in the slow ripening of the grapes, vintage occurs from late February through to mid April, resulting in full flavoured and balanced Chardonnay, Cabernet Savignon, Merlot & Shiraz wine varieties.
Beechworth wine region is indeed the perfect site to produce high quality wines that illustrate the terroir and that we’re so proud of here at Serengale Vineyard.
